so, from may on forward, life has been pretty strange i gotta say.
hey wait a sec. 4AM's birthday came and went, and nothing crashed. sorry, we'll have a party another time.
i also agree about the decemberists, jon. it's very good.
about arnold doing a cameo in a stallone movie...
"...I know he's probably exaggerating, but I really wish that were his entire cameo: this really long shot where you can't exactly make out who it is, some indistinct muttering, Stallone explaing, "That was Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger," and finally some approving nods from the rest of the Expendable crew. That's it. Or maybe Sly entering a bar's single-toilet bathroom only to find the back of a large man in a suit already using it, and you hear a panicked, distinctly Austrian, "It's taken!" If the cameo is going to be a brief, pointless encounter, I say the more vague and arbitrary the better."
awesome.
i think i just listened to the greatest album of 2009. it's called
The Hazards of Love and it's like
...And The Glass Handed Kites but done by The Decemberists, which means it's the greatest thing ever. 17 tracks that all tell one story and all fit together to form one giant song. oh i love me the album albums. forget singles. gimme a 59 minute epic.
